Run AVETMISS Reports

You can run your AVETMISS Reports directly from within Salesforce! The following covers how to do this.

1. AVETMISS App

The first step is to navigate to the AVETMISS App within Salesforce. Use the App button in the top left of the screen and then select 'AVETMISS'.

Once you have selected the AVETMISS app, select the 'AVETMISS Report' option from the navigation bar. 

2. Generate Reports

You have a few options to generate your reports - 

Date Range - specify the date range for which you would like to run your reports

Generate All Files - this will generate your AVETMISS files for the date range you specified and download them as a zipped file. NOTE - this feature is limited to smaller date ranges, no larger than a month. If you would like to produce more data you should use the 'Generate All Files Using Batch' method

Generate 10,20,30,60,80,85,90,100,120,120 Files - this will download a zipped folder with your files. The buttons split the file generation. NOTE - this feature is limited to smaller date ranges, no larger than a month. If you would like to produce more data you should use the 'Generate All Files Using Batch' method

Generate all Files Using Batch - you should use this for all AVETMISS reporting with a data range exceeding a month. Instead of immediately downloading a file, your request will be queued and each file emailed to you upon its completion

3. Receive your Reports

Once you have specified your data range and selected 'Generate all Files Using Batch', you will begin to receive your files via email.

NOTE - any files that are more than 3MB will be treated as 'Content'. This means that the file will not be a downloadable attachment, rather a link to the file which will be stored in a secure location by Salesforce. To access the file you do the following - 

  1. Click on the attachment link in the email
  2. This will open up a browser window which will contain a link
  3. Right-click the link and select 'Save link as'
  4. Save the file to a location of your choice

The NAT00080 and NAT00085 files are the most likely to be delivered by link rather than attachment.
