Notifications Regarding Student Support Needs

How does a student indicate to us that they have support needs?

A student can provide SJAA with information regarding their support needs two ways:-

1. Via the student enrolment form by completing the two fields: Do you have any Support Needs? and Support Needs Description: 

2. The student can phone our call centre and provide the details. The consultant can input the details into Salesforce against their contact record: 

How do we get made aware of the student support needs?

1. The details are included on the "Manage Attendees" page so that the trainers and training admins both have visibility:

2. A case is created and assigned to the relevant "Student Support Needs" case queue (there's one queue for each State using the SF platform).

The person who reviews the case can reassign it to the queue (update the case owner) and can enter the relevant course against the case on the case detail page. 

The case includes:-

- Student number

- Student Name

- Student Needs Description
