Training Locations

Training locations can be split into two categories - 

  1. St John training locations
  2. Industry training locations - corporate customer attended by St John to undertake training

Both categories are stored as Account records inside Salesforce and are assigned to appropriate training courses.

Updating a St John Training Location

You can see a full list of St John training locations by -

  1. Navigating to the 'Account' tab in Salesforce
  2. Select the 'St John Training Venue' option from the lists

From the list you can click through and have a look at any of the venues. In the 'Related' tab you can see all the courses hosted at that venue!

From the 'Details' tab you can see a lot of information about the venue. You can edit this using the 'Edit' button from the top right of the page. 

NOTE - the 'Capacity' field is important! When selecting a location on a training course the system will compare the entered capacity for the training course with the venue capacity. If the venue is not big enough to facilitate the Course, the system will alert you and not allow the record to be saved.

Creating a New St John Training Venue

If you need to enter a new St John Training Venue, do the following - 

  1. Navigate to the 'Accounts' tab in Salesforce
  2. Select 'New'
  3. Choose the type 'St John Training Venues'

4. Enter a venue name and fill out the required fields and save the record. The training venue will now be available for selection when setting up new training courses.

Training Venues must be assigned to a St John Regional Hub!
