Accreditation Delivery for Certificate Courses

1. Adding an Attendee to a Certificate Course = Auto-Exclusion

What is the purpose of this enhancement? - It's a severe ATO breach if we inadvertently issue a certificate to a student. With certificate-type courses, e.g. Certificate IV, etc. additional post-coursework needs to be checked after they've attended the course.

When an attendee is assigned to a course which has a product-family type of "Certificate Course", there's a checkbox on the attendee record which will automatically be ticked. This prevents a certificate from being delivered to them when they're marked as fully competent against the course by the trainer:

2. How does the Certificate-course student receive their certificate?

The following people have access to submit the certificates to both the student and their nominated employer:- Salesforce Administrators and Training Administrators (including Rostering staff).

The administrator would navigate to the attendee record and check the box: Certificate Course Send Cert to Employer:

3. What happens if the attendee has granted permission for their employer to receive a copy of the certificate?

The student's nominated employer will automatically receive a copy of the certificate if both of the conditions are met on the attendee record:-

Employee Permission = Y

Employee Email Address contains a valid email address

Once the administrator has checked the above-box : "Certificate Course Send Cert to Student", the checkbox "Cert Courses Send Cert to Employer" will by checked automatically:
